Antimicrobial Efficiency of Essential Oil and Microemulsion of Pectis brevipedunculata (Asteraceae): Evaluation of Bacterial and Fungal Inhibition in Strawberries
The research investigated the biotechnological potential of the essential oil extracted from the aerial parts of Pectis brevipedunculata, collected in São Luís, Maranhão. The results demonstrated potent antimicrobial activity, effective against bacteria such as S. aureus and E. coli, as well as phytopathogenic fungi.
